1. Acceptance of Terms

WriterIO.Space is a research-first AI writing platform that provides:

  • AI-powered writing assistance based exclusively on user-provided research
  • Hallucination Guard technology for content validation
  • Research library management and organization tools
  • Citation generation and source management
  • Style profile creation and personalization
  • Document export capabilities (PDF, DOCX)

Our AI generates content strictly from your uploaded research materials. We do not use external data sources or make assumptions beyond your provided content.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, create, or generate using our Services ("User Content"). This includes your research materials, documents, style profiles, and any AI-generated content based on your research.

4.2 License Grant

By uploading User Content, you grant WriterIO.Space a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

4.3 No AI Training

We do not use your User Content to train AI models. Your research, writing, and style profiles are processed only to provide you with our Services and are never used to improve or train our AI systems or any third-party AI systems.

4.4 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and use your content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
  • Use the Services for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software
  • Use automated means to access the Services without our express written permission
  • Resell or redistribute our Services without authorization

6. AI-Generated Content

6.1 Research-Based Generation

Our AI generates content exclusively from your provided research materials. The AI does not access external databases, the internet, or any information beyond what you have uploaded.

6.2 Hallucination Guard

Our Hallucination Guard technology validates generated content against your research. However, you acknowledge that no validation system is perfect, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.

6.3 No Guarantees

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for the final review and use of all content.

7. Subscription and Payment

7.1 Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Features and usage limits vary by plan. Current pricing and plan details are available on our website.

7.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law.

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for any content, accuracy, or opinions expressed in User Content or AI-generated content.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRITERIO.SPACE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WriterIO.Space and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which WriterIO.Space operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
